About Us
The Cord Strategies Group, LLC, is a nationwide federal sentencing mitigation consulting group. Our principal consultant, Carlos R. Dawson, is a retired sentencing guidelines specialist from the Administrative Office of the United States Courts. Mr. Dawson has 25 years of specialization in federal sentencing matters and completed more than 1,000 presentence reports, advising federal judicial officers on all issues relating to the analysis of both aggravating and mitigation factors in connection with sentencing. He is a member of the National Alliance of Sentencing Advocates and Mitigation Specialists (NASAMS).
Mr. Dawson is also a death penalty sentencing mitigation specialist and a licensed private investigator in the State of Florida.

Mr. Dawson is also a Florida Supreme Court Circuit and Appellate Court Mediator, and devotes time to practicing in the field of alternative dispute resolution and mediation in the State of Florida
